The Role
You will have a wide range of duties, such as;
Prepare year-end accounts for a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses, with a focus on medical sector clients
Liaise directly with clients to gather information, clarify queries, and build strong working relationships
Work closely with a manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounts
Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and review of client records to ensure completeness and accuracy
Handle accounts for newly onboarded clients following a recent acquisition, supporting smooth transitions and data integration
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal procedures
Support ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
Contribute to a collaborative and client-focused team environment
The Person
Strong accounts preparation experience is essential
Part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) candidates will be considered
Industry background will be considered if prior experience has been in Practice
Support available for candidates interested in pursuing further professional qualifications (e.g. ACA/ACCA)
Option for candidates to remain at Accounts Technician level and opportunity to progress.
