Eirkoo are representing a thriving financial services firm in Dublin who are looking to bring in an experienced IT professional. They are seeking a proactive and versatile IT Manager to serve as the internal point of contact for all IT-related matters and to lead cross-functional projects across the firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, dynamic environment and can balance hands-on technical oversight with strategic project leadership.The role combines infrastructure oversight, vendor management, and project leadership to support the various teams across the firm to enhance efficiency, and digital transformation goals within a regulated financial services environment.**Reporting to Managing Director or COOWorks closely with: Compliance, Finance, Client Services, and external IT provider.IT ManagementAct as the primary liaison for all internal IT queries and issues.Manage relationships with external IT service providers and vendors.Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software systems (e.g., CRM, financial platforms).Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).Support digital transformation initiatives and system upgrades.Updating IT policies when required.Project ManagementLead and deliver strategic projects across departments (e.g., compliance, finance, client services).Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely execution.Monitor project progress and report to senior leadership.Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.Drive continuous improvement and change management initiatives.Requirements3 to 5 years of experience in IT and/or project management, ideally within financial services.Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and vendor management.Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g, GDPR etc).Project Management certification is a plus.CompetenciesAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Comfortable in a hands-on role with strategic oversight.Experience with financial platforms, CRM systems, and cloud technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
