We are seeking a dynamic, reliable, and customer-focused Gunstore Retail Assistant to join our team.
This role is central to delivering a safe, professional, and welcoming shopping experience for all customers.
The successful candidate will be approachable, adaptable, and confident working in a team-oriented retail environment where attention to detail and security awareness are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming store environment
Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate product information
Locate and present requested items efficiently
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Maintain organisation, cleanliness, and stock control in the stock room
Ensure shelves and displays are neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing
Escalate customer concerns or complex issues to the Gunstore Lead or Retail Manager when required
Maintain a high level of security awareness at all times, following store policies and procedures
Participate in stocktakes
Support other departments, including assisting in the café, as needed
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Confidence in handling challenging customer interactions professionally
Flexible and reliable
High level of attention to detail, particularly regarding security and stock handling
Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential — full training will be provided
