We pride ourselves on the excellence of the professional services we provide and invest in ongoing training and development of our team and facilitators.
About the Role
This is a strategically important leadership role designed to make Accord more outward‑looking and client‑focused. A newly created role within the organisation, this is the first time all income‑generating and marketing activities have been brought together under one dedicated manager to concentrate on growth, visibility, and client recruitment.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a coherent, data‑informed strategy that strengthens our position as the ‘go‑to’ organisation for relationship counselling and support in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the organisation’s key driver of client growth, experience, and satisfaction.
* Monitor and report on key engagement and performance metrics.
* Collaborate with the Director and senior team to align marketing and outreach activities with organisational goals.
Marketing & Communications
* Manage strategic marketing campaigns (in partnership with a digital marketing provider).
* Oversee website content and online presence.
* Build Accord’s media profile and grow unprompted media references in relevant areas.
* Create or commission compelling content that communicates Accord’s value to diverse audiences.
Client Engagement & Service Promotion

* Use both qualitative and quantitative data (including testimonials and feedback) to demonstrate impact and effectiveness.
* Track trends in service uptake, client satisfaction, and referral sources.

* Comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels.
Personal Qualities
* Curious, analytical mindset and a creative approach to problem‑solving.
* Collaborative, emotionally intelligent and adaptable.
* Resilient and results‑focused (with an understanding that financial return is not the only measure of success).
* Positive alignment with the organisation’s ethos and mission.
Induction & Onboarding
A bespoke induction programme will be created for the successful candidate, including:
* Observing a marriage preparation course.
* Observing a facilitator and counsellor training day.
* Experiencing sessions of person‑centred counselling (with an independent counsellor) to gain insight into our approach.
Additional Notes
* Some travel to regional centres will be required.
* Coordination of periodic online and in‑person conferences is part of the role.
* The organisation is overseen by the Catholic Bishops of Ireland. While religious instruction is not part of the services provided, a respectful understanding of Catholic values is important, particularly in relation to our marriage preparation programmes.
