Lead Planner – Data Centre Projects (Permanent Role | Denmark or Germany)Our client, a leading multinational construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join their growing delivery teams supporting major data centre developments across Northern Europe. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects based in either Denmark or Germany. As Lead Planner, you will take ownership of project scheduling from early stages through to completion, working closely with project and engineering teams to ensure programmes are robust, realistic, and fully aligned with delivery objectives.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, managing, and maintaining fully resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6Working closely with project managers, engineers, designers, and commercial teams to gather inputs and define programme logicTracking progress and updating schedules to reflect scope changes, sequencing updates, and resource requirementsAnalysing programme performance, identifying risks and delays, and proposing mitigation strategiesProducing detailed planning reports, including critical path, schedule variance, and earned value metricsSupporting the deployment of the Last Planner System, facilitating short-term planning sessions, monitoring constraints, and promoting reliable weekly work planningProviding schedule insight to support project controls, reporting, and decision-making at both site and senior management levelRequirementsDegree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineSeveral years' experience in a planning or project controls role on large-scale construction projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sectorStrong proficiency in Primavera P6Solid understanding of scheduling methodologies and best practice programme managementExperience with Earned Value Management; exposure to Lean Construction and Last Planner principles is advantageousHighly organised, analytical, and comfortable working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary delivery teamsFluent English is essential; Danish or German language skills are beneficial but not requiredThis is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation delivering some of the most high-profile data centre projects in Europe, offering long-term career progression and international project exposure.
