Mechanical Project Engineer - Co. Cavan Staffline Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Mechanical Project Engineer on behalf of one of our leading manufacturing clients based in Co. Cavan. The Role As Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design, procurement, installation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment to support ongoing development and improvement within the manufacturing process. You'll work closely with the Project Engineering Manager, operations and technical teams to ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver engineering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Design, evaluate, and implement mechanical equipment, systems and processes. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure optimal performance. Lead root cause analysis and recommend design or process improvements. Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure full compliance with engineering and safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and contractors to drive performance and innovation. Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement across all project activities. What We're Looking For Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in CAD and MS Office. Self-starter with drive, innovation, and the ability to work independently.
