Overview
Our client supplies engineering services to the milling and pelleting industries throughout Ireland. They are currently seeking to employ a Maintenance Fitter to join their team to work on a site in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Responsibilities
* Provide general maintenance services at a feed milling plant in Thurles.
* Apply a practical approach to fault finding and a sound understanding of preventive maintenance.
* Manage time and perform duties to meet strict customer-driven deadlines.
* Maintain flexibility as some maintenance may take place on occasional Saturdays or during mill downtime.
Hours of Work
Hours are generally straight days, e.g. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some Saturday mornings as required.
Qualifications
At least two years of relevant experience in a maintenance fitter environment and general mechanical maintenance and fabrication experience.
