We are seeking a highly accomplished Quantum Algorithms Developer to join our Quantum Algorithms team, contributing to the research and development of innovative algorithms that fully leverage the capabilities of Equal1 quantum computers for our customers.
In this role, you will be expected to identify problems that challenge current classical computing systems and understand the strengths of quantum computing.
You will keep up-to-date with the latest research on quantum algorithms, explore and evaluate current trends and develop new quantum algorithms.
Implement existing quantum algorithms from the literature.
Develop and/or contribute to developing new algorithms.
Work with the Algorithms team to share and record team knowledge.
Work with the Hardware team to optimize Equal1 hardware for algorithms.
Work with the Theory team to develop hardware-efficient algorithms.
Research, design, and implement new quantum algorithms, with emphasis on scalability and hardware efficiency.
Maintain continuous awareness of global developments in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and hybrid computation methods.
Disseminate results and findings both internally and externally.
Experience and Qualifications
Required
Experience working with quantum algorithms and algorithm analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work at both the theoretical level and the practical.
Desired Experience
3+ years of experience working with quantum algorithms and algorithm analysis.
Knowledge on:
Quantum materials science
Hamiltonian simulation
Quantum signal processing
Optimization
QSVT
