Based in Cork, PAP Healthcare Limited are a patient-focused healthcare provider with more than 20 years experience in respiratory services within the Irish healthcare sector.
To support business growth, we are now seeking to recruit a CPAP Patient Manager to work in respiratory therapies in the Munster Area in a full time permanent position.
This is a key position within our expanding team and the candidate will maintain existing clients and promote our range of products and services to our hospital-based stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Director, in this role you will be required to:
Manage the set up and installation of CPAP and NIV homecare devices for patients at their home or hospital sleep clinic in an effective and caring manner to a high standard that meets best practice
Manage support and follow-up to CPAP Patients post installation.
This will include telephone calls, additional home visits if needed ensuring compliance and data feedback to the hospital-based stakeholders.
Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide a seamless service to both our patients and hospital based stakeholders.
Continuously look for ways to improve our service level for our customers/stakeholders to deliver a high standard of care for our patients
Provide input and recommendations into current process and ways in which it can be improved in terms of efficiency and effectiveness
Pro-actively take control of issues and provide solutions to customers/management
Support organisational changes
Take accountability for assigned tasks
Create, Promote and Maintain Operational Excellence
Qualification Requirements:
· Nurse, Physiotherapist or Medical Technician qualification is an advantage
· Experience in the area of sleep apnoea/CPAP/BI-PAP is desirable
· High degree of self-motivation
· Excellent active listening skills with effective verbal skills to respond to customers with a rational and empathetic manner
· Ability to quickly build rapport with new clients
· Able to respond flexibly and empathetically to customer needs, managing their expectations effectively
· Effective administrator with a high level of attention to detail
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
· Good time management skills
· Effective prioritisation showing ability to be flexible whilst meeting customer needs and managing their expectations
· Have a full clean driving licence
· Advanced understanding of the English language with strong written skills
