Responsibilities
:
1. Evaluate content within specific verticals to ensurepliance with PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Identify and flag content that violates our policies and take appropriate action in collaboration with key partners.
2. Conduct thorough Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) investigations to identify patterns, trends, and typologies impacting PayPal and the global usermunity.
3. Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality while conducting investigations and handling sensitive information.
4. Prepare detailed reports and readouts for senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights and rmendations based on data analysis.
5. Facilitate collaboration on cross-functional matters with a BRMponent, including interaction with internal stakeholders such as Public Relations, Legal,pliance/AML, Global Investigations, Analytics etc.
6. Identify opportunities for automation to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes.
7. Staying apprised of regulatory changes globally to assist in determining impacts to PayPal and driving program changes.
8. Conduct onsite visits with merchants to assess their controls andpliance frameworks.
9. Evaluate the effectiveness of merchants'pliance programs and provide feedback for improvement.
10. Engage with payment partners to provide assurance of PayPal's oversight of high-risk verticals.
11. Attending tasks to support the wider Brand Risk Management Program.
Requirements:
12. Strong subject matter expertise in financial crimes/anti-money laundering and trust and safety space.
13. Experience conducting OSINT investigations and assessing sensitive content preferred.
14. Proactive approach in managing engagements and seeking ways to add value.
15. Demonstrate ability to see the big picture, analyze risks, and make rmendations for improvements to mitigate those risks.
16. Ability to travel for onsite merchant visits.
17. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assessplex information, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
18. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
19. Discretion and Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
20. Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achievemon goals.
21. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing regulatory environments and business needs.
