Job Objectives
We are looking for a Deputy Person in Charge to support the Centre's Person in Charge. This role suits experienced candidates with strong organisational and management skills, supporting the execution of daily duties in line with regulations.
Responsibilities
* Ensure personal plans are up to date and services are delivered to high quality and safety standards.
* Provide high-quality care and support to individuals.
* Support the Person in Charge by managing team members and coordinating input from clinical and departmental teams.
* Mentor and lead the team daily. Conduct formal supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings under the supervision of the Person in Charge.
* Oversee service delivery across shifts for effectiveness and efficiency.
* Adhere to local safety statements, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
* Follow all company policies and procedures.
* Maintain infection control standards in line with policy and best practice to ensure safety and welfare for all.
Skills and Qualifications
* Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline, or a suitable equivalent with management qualifications in healthcare.
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation.
* Relevant life experience.
* Full driver’s licence required or in the process of obtaining one.

* Ability to make critical decisions and recommendations.
* Ability to work within a fast-paced, flexible team.
* Excellent listening, learning, organisational, verbal, and written communication skills, including IT proficiency.
