Senior Project Manager - Mayo
Overview
CREGG are currently hiring a Senior Project Manager to work in a large Manufacturing Company in Mayo. Reporting to the PMO you will work alongside a team of 11 project managers in the engineering department. The role will involve large scale engineering projects from across the plant.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Execution and Monitoring:
Lead project teams to achieve deliverables, ensuring practicality and efficiency.
Monitor and track the progress of projects.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Handle change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure objectives are achieved.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and any issues.
Financial Oversight:
Develop project budgets and ensure that projects stay within financial constraints.
Conduct cost analysis and resource leveling.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a formal qualification in Project Management, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
5+ years of proven working experience as a Project Manager in the relevant regulated industry - Pharma, Medical Device or Food/Beverage Industry field.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project).
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with an eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Candidates must hold a valid working visa for Ireland.
