Our client,
a prominent Fit-Out specialist, is currently in search of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Dublin.
This client is a rapidly growing SME set to double its turnover in 2024, having established a strong presence in the commercial fit-out sector. They specialize in high-end fitouts and fireproofing projects, collaborating with prestigious blue-chip clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the subcontractor appointment process, ensuring efficient selection and engagement.
2. Prepare tenders, cost estimates, and quotations, meeting client deadlines and expectations.
3. Develop value engineering proposals to align projects with client budgetary requirements.
4. Vigilantly manage subcontractor accounts in strict accordance with their terms and conditions to meet project demands and timelines.
5. Conduct on-site visits to assess completed work, ensure quality standards, and manage project costs.
6. Perform assigned duties contributing to project success and overall team performance.
7. Prioritize tasks effectively and meet set deadlines.
8. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive internal and external working relationships.
Qualifications:
1. Third-level degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
2. Previous experience in Quantity Surveying, with a preference for experience in Construction, Fit-Out, or Main Contractor roles.
3. Proficient estimation skills and experience in negotiation for confirming, agreeing, and pricing variations.
4. Solid understanding of construction contracts.
5. Possession of a full clean driving license.
