The AIB Trinity Climate Hub, hosted by the School of Natural Sciences, is seeking to appoint a Research Hub Manager who will drive the mission, vision, culture, impact, and strategic objectives of the AIB Trinity Climate Hub, together with its implementation. The Research Hub Manager will foster an environment of research excellence and impact where research and innovation can flourish and enhance the brand and identity of the Hub. Responsibilities include leading and managing partnerships, research collaboration, infrastructure development, innovation, commercialization, finance, and operations for the Hub (€10M budget).
The postholder will lead a team of two initially, setting strategic direction and managing priorities and activities.
Post Status: Specific Purpose
This role involves designing and implementing the research, education, and public engagement strategies of the AIB Trinity Climate Hub. The Manager will collaborate with leadership to drive strategic initiatives, secure research funding, and develop future researchers.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: Appointment on the Administrative Officer 1 (1-6) scale (€69,545 - €110,118 per annum), in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines. More info
