This pivotal role involves overseeing the performance and strategy of air and ocean freight services, ensuring seamless coordination, and delivering operational excellence across global trade lanes, for our customers.Duties and responsibilitiesThis is an interesting and varied role with responsibilities including but not limited to:Day-to-day management of global air and ocean freight operations.Managing communications with Carriers, Hauliers, Customs agents, and third-party service providers.Develop routing and pricing strategies to ensure competitive and cost-effective transportation solutions.Oversee compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and internal policies.Work closely with Sales & Operations teams to align logistics capabilities with Business needs.Implement performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery and transit times.Analyse data and market trends to inform operational decisions and future planning.Experience, skills, and competenciesMinimum 3 years of experience in international logistics, with a strong focus on air and ocean freight.Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes, customs clearance processes, and international trade compliance Proficiency in logistics systems and software.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Lead by example in upholding the Company's Values & Pillars, at all times.Positive 'can do' attitude and highly ambitious approach.What we offerPermanent employment contract.Attractive Salary: + Generous 'Opportunity to Earn' Bonus Scheme rewards (OTE)21 days annual leave (up to 2 additional days leave after 12 months service)Company Pension (after successful completion of probation period)Working Hours (08:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday).Positive working environment with a really vibrant atmosphere.If you want to be part of the amazing ACE team and hold the required skillset & experience, we are searching for then please apply todayTo apply, please send an updated CV to - please insertAir and Ocean Freight Senior Operatorin the subject line.
