Solution Architect – Oracle Finance Systems12-Month Contract | Hybrid WorkingRole OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedSolution Architectto provide architectural leadership and hands-on delivery support for apublic sector finance systems programme.The role focuses on the design, implementation and optimisation ofOracle eBusiness Suite (EBS)finance solutions, working closely with finance services teams, system integrators and business stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, best-practice outcomes.This is a seniortechno-functional role, requiring strong Oracle expertise across architecture, configuration, data migration and stakeholder engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & DeliveryProvide architectural leadership and technical guidance across all project phases, from strategy and design through to implementation and transition to operationsOversee end-to-end delivery of complex Oracle EBS programmes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practiceAct as a trusted technical advisor to finance teams, system integrators and external partnersRequirements & DesignAnalyse business requirements and contribute to Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)Review and assure Functional Design (FD) documentationEnsure solutions align with public sector and Irish Civil Service standardsOracle Functional & Technical ExpertiseProvide subject matter expertise across Oracle EBS configuration and custom development, including reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions and workflowsSupport Oracle EBS functional modules, including Purchasing, Inventory Management (R12), Fixed Assets, Order Management and General LedgerData, Testing & TrainingLead advisory input to data migration, conversion and reconciliation, including legacy data extraction, validation and data quality assuranceSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End User TestingContribute to end-user training and knowledge transferOperational SupportProvide hands-on guidance to operations teams in issue analysis and resolutionPartner with business and technical teams to drive operational efficiencySupport continuous improvement and optimisation initiativesData Protection & Location RequirementsAll services must be delivered from within the EU / EEAAll data processing must comply with Irish legislation and GDPRAll data must remain within the EU / EEA at all timesThe contractor will operate under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) aligned to Irish regulatory requirementsRequired Skills & ExperienceCore ExperienceProven experience as a Solution Architect on large-scale Oracle EBS implementationsExperience on at least two Oracle EBS programmes, including one within a finance shared services environmentExperience working with system integrators and multi-vendor delivery teamsStrong background delivering solutions in complex, regulated environmentsOracle Technical & Functional SkillsStrong techno-functional Oracle EBS expertise, including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder and OAFExperience delivering complex Oracle programmes while supporting business-as-usual (BAU) activitiesQualificationsThird-level technical degree from a recognised institutionFormal training or certification in Oracle or equivalent enterprise finance systems (e.g. SAP, JD Edwards, Agresso, Lawson, Sage)Desirable ExperiencePublic sector or shared services experienceDelivery of Oracle solutions aligned with government standards and controlsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience supporting organisational change and operational transitionPFH Technology, owned by Ricoh – a Japanese based global ICT company, is a premier provider of end-to-end ICT solutions and a managed services portfolio scaling from SMEs to large Enterprise organisations.
