Technical Field Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Field Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with leading-edge customer equipment, performing scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance, and upgrading equipment.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for proactively taking ownership of technical issues, completing required job documentation, safety training and procedures for processing parts, and professionally representing our client to the customer.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualification from disciplines including Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Science / Aircraft Systems or a Trade Apprenticeship.
* At least 1 years + of work experience in customer/field support/maintenance role.
* An ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
* Clear and effective written/verbal communications skills, with an emphasis on documenting details.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
* A mechanical aptitude and knowledge in the following: pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum and thermodynamics.
* Knowledge of hand tools and proper usage, including a digital multimeter.

Interview Process:
The interview process will include a 2 hour same day interview process – interviews run on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings. It will include a practical mechanical and electrical hands on assessment & a competency based interview.
Requirements:
* Are you eligible to work in Ireland under the correct premits / visa / citizenship?
* Have you the ability to work 24/7 shifts ( both day and night shifts) annually with no restrictions?
* Have you got any restrictions or reasons as to why you cannot travel to Asia or USA or a similar location for a period of three months for training purposes with no ability to come back to Ireland during this time?
* Are you comfortable working within a cleanroom environment for the duration of your 12 hour shifts?
* Are you happy to take part in a hands on assessment of your technical ability and competency based interview as part of the interview process?
