Breakfast Chef
Our esteemed hospitality client seeks an accomplished Breakfast Chef to join their prestigious team at a renowned 4-star hotel in Co. Cavan.
This exceptional role presents a unique opportunity for a dedicated and reliable individual to thrive in the early hours, delivering exceptional breakfast service to discerning guests in a luxury setting.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes with efficiency and consistency, while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly during morning service.
* Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard.
* Set up and break down the breakfast station and buffet.
* Ensure all food preparation is carried out efficiently and on time.
* Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver smooth breakfast service.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with HACCP regulations.
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Head Chef.
* Contribute to menu ideas for seasonal or special offerings when required.
Required Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar breakfast chef or early-shift chef role.
* Strong knowledge of breakfast service operations (buffet, à la carte, or plated service).
* Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage morning prep without supervision.
* A positive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.
* HACCP certification and knowledge of food safety regulations.
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
