This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial part in a dynamic and forward-thinking company which will provide great support.Responsibilities:Conducting internal audits and following up on results of sameInitial induction of staff and ongoing training and development of staffEncouragement of innovative practiceEnsuring implementation and adherence to Company and HIQA standards, procedures and guidelinesConducting regular communication meetings with all clinical staffEstablish a good rapport with external community agencies bringing the local community into the Home and facilitating residents to attend functions/activities within the local communityLiaise with Marketing to maximise opportunities to ensure the Home has a high profile in the local communityImplement Company Health and Safety Policy to safeguard the safety and welfare of staff, residents and othersImplement regular fire training and evacuation plansEnsure the hygiene and cleanliness of the home is to the highest standardEnsure a preventative maintenance programme is in place and implementedParticipate in the selection and interviewing of staffConduct regular training needs analysisClinical practice in the home meets Regulations & StandardsQualifications Skills & Attributes required:Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years Management experience in the last 6 years in care of the older personPost registration management qualification in health or a related fieldProven track record in healthcare clinical managementExcellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skillsSound decision making ability and results drivenAbility to work well and promote a team environmentWillingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the companyINDHJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €80,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsFood allowanceOn-site parkingLicence/Certification:NMBI Registration (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
