Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing food manufacturing facility with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. They are currently undergoing a large state of the art expansion project and are seeking to fill the key position of Operations Lead to manage key areas across the plant.
The Operations Lead will have overall responsibility for the day to day coordination of site operations, ensuring the efficient, safe and compliant running of production and warehousing activities within a food manufacturing environment.
This role acts as a central point of coordination across production, warehouse, health & safety, quality and people management, ensuring that systems, processes and staff are aligned to meet operational, regulatory and commercial objectives.
Site Operations
Plan and coordinate production and warehouse activities to meet customer demand and business targets.
Monitor operational performance and proactively address issues impacting efficiency, quality, safety or delivery timelines.
Production
Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules in line with sales forecasts and capacity.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and control costs.
Warehousing & Logistics
Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.
Maintain appropriate stock levels to support production and customer requirements.
Health & Safety
Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and company policies.
Quality & Food Safety
Coordinate audits, corrective actions and documentation control.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
3rd level qualification in food, operations, supply chain or equivalent discipline.
2-4 years hands on process experience within production/logistics environment.
Experience coordinating people and processes in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of HACCP, BRC or equivalent food safety standards.
