Red D are recruiting a Head Chef for one of Dublins most exciting venues. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the food strategy, day-to-day kitchen operations, and delivering exceptional quality across multiple outlets. The Head Chef will combine culinary creativity with strong management and organisational skills to ensure the venue maintains its reputation for high standards, consistency and fresh thinking. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Manage kitchen rosters, training, and development to ensure a motivated, high-performing team. Menu Development & Food Standards Design and deliver innovative, seasonal menus aligned with the restaurant's brand and clientele. Maintain consistent quality and presentation standards across all food service periods and events. Champion sustainability and local sourcing where possible. Operational & Financial Management Oversee kitchen budgets, food cost control, GP targets, and waste management. Work closely with suppliers to ensure best value and quality. Collaborate with the General Manager and senior team to achieve commercial goals. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards. Maintain a safe, efficient, and professional working environment. Candidate Profile Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, premium hospitality environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate. A passion for modern, innovative cuisine with a focus on guest experience. Excellent organisational and financial acumen. Resilient, hands-on, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
