A new and exciting opportunity to join our growing Business Development (BD) team. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Financial Analyst
to support strategic initiatives, enable growth, and enhance decision-making processes across high-performing sales and other teams at Carne Group.
The successful candidate will combine technical expertise in financial analysis with creative problem-solving skills to drive impactful projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a business development or strategic planning environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
* Experience of working directly with clients and providing an exceptional professional experience on behalf of Carne Group.
* Fluency in English required, additional languages desirable.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
* Deliver on projects such as:
* Annual repricing project & support target achievement (€2m p.a.) by identifying clients in scope, analysing book v rate card and designing strategy for negotiation with clients.
* Strategic Client Identification and Revenue Monitoring in consultation with the Consultative Sales - Strategic Relationship Manager.
* Ensure seamless transition of closed won deals from Business Development to Finance (via onboarding), maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
* Create models to predict ramp-up periods and assess P&L impact post-sales go-live.
* Implement system across Business Development & Client Relationship Management to track and measure impact of unrealised revenue (Committed Capital V Capital Called).
* Implement solution to track impact of increase / decrease of AUM on book of business.
* Introduce solutions to track fund lifecycles, maturity dates, and their impact on Run Rate and P&L.
* Drive analysis of Carne's Platforms revenue to identify trends and revenue growth opportunities.
* Design processes to track terminations across clients, funds, and services.
* Create model for weekly New Business Forum (NBF) to identify comparative clients and deals. Automate NBF activity reporting.
* Act as a key partner to the New Product Forum lead and support financial modelling and tracking performance versus Target.
* Develop a deep understanding of Carne's product offerings to inform strategic insights and support sales teams on client / prospect pitches.
* Support negotiations with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
* Identify key growth opportunities in emerging asset classes and stay updated on regulatory changes affecting our offering.
* Provide feedback to product development teams on market demands and client expectations to drive innovation.
