Job description:
We are looking for an AIM support/ Early Years Educator to join our team.
The role will be to provide additional support within a classroom (alongside two key persons) to a child with medical needs.
The successful candidate must have:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
An ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
Knowledge of Aistear & Siolta Frameworks
Be kind, caring and positive in their interaction with children
Have an understanding of AIM and the ability to offer support on a one - to –one basis to children under the AIM (Access and Inclusion Model)
First Aid essential and Manual Handling an advantage
Appropriate Garda Vetting/ Police Clearance
Knowledge of Child Protection
A QQI level 5 Childcare qualification is the minimum requirement.
Previous experience of working with children with medical needs preferable.
The position starts immediately until the end of June **** (term time).
Working hours: 30 hrs per week Aim support 8 45 am – 3pm, Monday – Friday.
