Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our high-performing team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client payrolls across various cycles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue compliance, with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and experience in payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of client payrolls across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
* Process end-to-end payroll with a focus on accuracy and statutory compliance
* Prepare and reconcile payroll reports
* Ensure all statutory requirements are met, including PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions, and other deductions
* Act as the first point of contact for client queries, delivering timely and professional responses
* Support audits and contribute to ongoing improvements in payroll processes and systems
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, ideally in a bureau or shared services environment
* Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue compliance
* IPASS qualification (or equivalent) is preferred
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills - this is a key requirement
* Familiarity with payroll systems
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* A collaborative approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and excellent service
