Trainee Manager
This role offers a hands-on opportunity for someone eager to build a long-term career in retail management. As a Trainee Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the opening and closing of the store, packing shelves, managing stock, monitoring waste, handling cash, supervising team members, attending management meetings, and working towards key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will assist with human resources-related tasks, such as scheduling and staff communication, and support the store's social media presence and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in opening and closing the store
* Pack shelves and manage store orders
* Monitor and control stock waste
* Handle cash and ensure register accuracy
* Supervise and support team members during shifts
* Attend and contribute to management meetings
* Work towards hitting key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Assist with HR-related tasks (e.g., scheduling, staff communication)
* Support the store's social media presence and marketing efforts
Requirements:
* A highly motivated individual who is passionate about a career in retail management and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both morning and evening shifts as part of a rotating schedule.
* A proactive and team-focused attitude.
* Retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential.
* A degree in business or management is a plus, but not required.
