Audit Associate Director - Monaghan
Our client, a long-established and rapidly expanding regional practice, is seeking to appoint an Audit Associate Director to support significant growth across its audit portfolio. The firm has grown exponentially over the past two to three years and, with a multi-office footprint and a strong succession-planning focus, now requires an experienced audit leader to help shape the next phase of development.
This is a key leadership role within the Monaghan office managing a broad portfolio of clients across manufacturing, wholesale, agriculture, professional services and more. The successful candidate will take ownership of approximately 80 audits across the firm's offices and will play a central role in managing both local teams and an established outsourced audit team based in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage audit engagements across a diverse portfolio, from small charities to large group structures.
* Oversee and develop audit teams, including the South African outsourced team and local trainees.
* Support clients undergoing growth, restructuring and M&A activity.
* Drive quality, consistency and delivery across audit files (Omnipro Excel-based templates used; no requirement for prior software experience).
* Contribute to strategic planning and succession initiatives within the firm.
* Work predominantly on-site in Monaghan.
Role Requirements
* Extensive audit leadership experience, ideally trained in a Big Four or large national practice.
* Strong team management experience, including oversight of outsourced or remote teams.
* Broad industry exposure and the ability to manage a varied and high-volume client base.
* Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining high professional standards.
* Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
