Sales Representative (M/F)
Our Client is a family owned Spanish company designing and manufacturing technical and decorative solutions derived from wood to a worldwide diverse customer base. They currently employ over 3200 people worldwide & are recognised as a worldwide reference in the industry and known in Europe as the manufacturer of MDF specials. Their Irish sales office is located in Scariff, Co Clare and the distribution centre is located in Drogheda, Co Louth. The Irish organisation is a small dynamic and welcoming organization with 10 employees and currently seeking a (field) sales representative to join in a period of growth.
As a Sales Representative you will work closely with the sales team to help interpret a customer’s technical requirements and communicate product features. Training will be provided however sound technical understanding is imperative.
Job Description
Travelling to potential clients and searching for new clients who could benefit from our products throughout Ireland.
Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with customers.
Calculating client quotations, negotiating and closing sales.
Preparing reports for sales meetings.
Meeting regular sales targets.
Support marketing by attending trade shows and other marketing events.
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how certain products will meet customer needs.
Providing pre‑sales technical assistance and product education.
Qualifications
Experience in sales in the area of raw material (sheets) for manufacturers and carpenters and/or in the area of construction projects is a plus.
Good verbal and written communication.
The ability to build relationships with clients.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Team work facility.
Availability to travel is essential.
