A market leading wealth management firm are looking to hire
a HCAO to work with the CRO and leading the client asset oversight team. The
role will work closely with the board and will require somebody to have
excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Overall responsibility for leading and managing the
client asset oversight function
* Report to the risk and compliance committee and
also the board of client asset matters
* Handle the day -to -day oversight and compliance
with client asset regulations (CAR) and the guidance relating to those
regulations, including oversight of the Daily Calculation and Daily Reconciliation
* Ensuring that the Client Asset Management Plan
(CAMP) referred to in the CAR is produced, maintained, reviewed and updated as
the information changes
* Work closely with all first and second lines of
defence to identify and mitigate client asset related risks.
Requirements
o Detailed knowledge of Client Asset rules
Regulations in Ireland and the associated guidance and their application to
businesses and processes
o Knowledge of MiFID / UK CAAS would be an advantage
o Experience delivering / managing a compliance
function focusing on client asset regulations
o Evidence of operational risk expertise, with
ability to identify risks and develop mitigating controls across front -to -back
processes
o Must be a self starter with excellent
communication skills
