My client is a leading aircraft asset manager which is recruiting a dynamic VP Technical to support its aircraft acquisition, asset management, and powerplant strategy.
Responsibilities * Lead all powerplant activities, including OEM relationships and MTBR/internal forecasting * Manage aircraft and engine transitions, LOI review, and lease negotiations * Support investor queries and portfolio analysis with a technical lens * Oversee maintenance reserve claims and shop visit reports * Contribute to acquisitions, sales, inspections, and technical due diligence Requirements * Minimum 7 years' experience in aircraft leasing or airline technical management * Strong engine and powerplant background essential (GE90 exposure preferred) * Ability to lead discussions with OEMs, investors, and cross-functional teams This is a high-visibility opportunity to within a developing technical function.
