You'll play an important role in: acting as front-line interface to numerous stakeholders, such as outsourced O&M providers, landowners, and the system operatordelivering the safety, performance, and financial targets of the Asset Management functionmanaging the ongoing implementation of our Electrical Safety Rules, fulfilling the role of Authorizing Engineer within the systemsupporting, training and upskilling of colleagues and contractors who interact with Orsted managed electrical installationstracking and monitoring the performance of the assets, utilising the Asset Management Information Systems and tools to maximise performance and minimise asset downtimeensuring that work is carried out safely by the service providers, liaising with QHSE specialists, and promoting and applying safe systems of work on the sitesacting as the interface with the transmission and distribution system operators for operational communications, outage planning, operational switching, grid code compliance, and fault analysis.To succeed in the role, you: have an analytical approach to your work, excellent organisational skills, and an ability to handle numerous tasks at once, without losing perspectivehave a relevant educational background with substantial experience in the high voltage or renewables industryare able to create excellent results, both in a solo capacity and through teamwork, and develop good relationships with your colleagues and external business partnersare proactive and keen to identify and implement improvement initiatives and share best practice across the departmenthave a positive attitude and thrive within a growing and dynamic business environment.Maybe you've read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don't quite match all the points.
