About Our Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled professional to own how nodes in an Elasticsearch cluster communicate, and how data are indexed, allocated, and replicated across nodes.
1. Improving Elasticsearch's components that support concurrent and consistent indexing across multiple machines will be a key focus of this role.
2. Maintaining our cluster coordination system is crucial to keeping performance high even though nodes come and go from the cluster and data move around. This position requires maintaining the safety and liveness properties of the system as a whole while ensuring smooth operations.
