We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Senior HR Business Partner / HR Manager to join our Human Resources team. This hybrid role blends strategic HR leadership with operational excellence and will be a key driver in partnering with the business to support transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in employee relations, organisational design and development, and the ability to influence and impact across all levels of the organisation.
Location: Onsite at our facility in Loughrea, hybrid policy applies only after probationary period.
As our Senior HR Business Partner / HR Manager your key responsibilities will be as follows:
Strategic HR Business Partnering
* Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and transformation goals.
* Lead organisational design and development initiatives to support structural and cultural change.
* Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I) programmes.
* Support leadership development, succession planning, and talent management strategies.
* Act as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
HR Management
* Lead, manage and develop the HR operations team into a high‑performing team.
* Manage the HR Operations function including onboarding, HRIS management, payroll coordination, and compliance.
* Continuously improve HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
* Manage HR data and analytics to generate insights that inform strategic decision‑making.
* Liaise with external vendors (e.g. payroll, benefits, HR technology) to ensure service excellence.
* Ensure operational readiness to support digital transformation initiatives.
Education & Experience
* Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; CIPD qualification preferred.
* Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sectors.
* Demonstrated experience in employee relations, organisational design, and HR operations.
* Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Proven ability to lead and support transformation initiatives.
