Key ResponsibilitiesProvide visible leadership across health, safety, quality, and operational performance, setting the standard across all projects and teams.Take full ownership of a multi-project, multi-region business unit, ensuring consistent delivery and strong commercial outcomes.Act as a senior contributor to company-wide strategy, working collaboratively with finance, operations, HR, and business development functions.Ensure effective governance, reporting, and management controls are embedded and operating effectively.Lead structured business reviews, reporting on performance metrics and strategic objectives.Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the division.Identify, develop, and commercialise new opportunities within the utilities and infrastructure markets.Lead bid strategy, tender development, and high-level client engagement, maintaining strong long-term relationships.Oversee commercial performance across contracts, ensuring productivity, margin control, and risk management.Drive organisational capability through people leadership, succession planning, and talent development.Candidate RequirementsDegree-qualified, preferably an Engineering/Construction or similar.Extensive senior leadership experience within utilities, energy, or regulated infrastructure environments.Demonstrated responsibility for P&L management within a large-scale commercial operation (€15m+ annual turnover).At least 8 years' experience in a senior operational, project, or programme leadership role.Proven ability to lead senior teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver growth in regulated environments.Strong understanding of the Irish utilities and infrastructure landscape.Background in contracting or service delivery organisations is advantageous.
