Job Summary:
This position serves as the lead for the HR team, responsible for developing and implementing effective HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the HR team to deliver a comprehensive and professional service to management and employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
* Assist the Head of HR in promoting a constructive and productive employee relations culture that achieves employee commitment and supports the organizational strategy.
* Manage the day-to-day operation of the HR Department, supervising and managing HR personnel, and implementing best practice HR policy and procedure.
Requirements:
1. A relevant third-level professional qualification or membership of CIPD.
2. Significant operational experience in dealing with HR/IR issues and delivering results at a senior level.
3. Experience of dealing with Industrial Relations/Employee Relations matters, including negotiations with staff and staff representative groups on workplace matters ideally in a multi-union environment.
4. Up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
