Job Title: Clinical Psychology Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team in the CHODNCC area. As a Senior Grade Clinician, you will provide psychology services for children with complex mental health needs, working closely with colleagues to develop and deliver rehabilitation and care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver professional psychology services in line with best practice, working within your limits of professional competence and adhering to principles of best practice, professional conduct, and clinical governance.
* Formulate and implement plans for psychological therapeutic intervention or management based on an appropriate framework, working in home and clinical settings as required.
* Provide clinical supervision to staff grade Psychologists and student psychologists, promoting their professional development and growth.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A minimum QQI Level 8 qualification in Psychology and an Irish post-graduate qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in clinical, counselling, or educational psychology.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical psychology post graduate and membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
* Experience of working with children with complex needs, requiring a strong understanding of their unique challenges and requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and a strong command of English.
