Job Role
A skilled Automation Engineer is required to support project delivery from initial proposals to equipment handover.
Main Responsibilities
* Project Delivery: Assist in all stages of project delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
* Software Development: Design and develop software for automation equipment to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
* Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical and electrical teams to select and configure components for control systems.
* PLC and HMI Code Development: Develop PLC and HMI code aligned with customer-specific requirements.
* Equipment Design Reviews: Participate in equipment design reviews, both on-site and at customer locations.
* Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
* Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to the wider engineering team.
