About the Role
This is a high-impact position that requires strategic input and direct line management of programme managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cohesive design, delivery, and management of high-impact programmes and supports.
The primary objective of this role is to translate strategy into impactful delivery for SMEs across the island. The post-holder will deputise for Directors as required and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to inform and implement organisational strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading on business development and ensuring that our organisation is strategically positioned within the wider economic support ecosystem across the island through significant external stakeholder engagement.
* Designing and delivering high-impact programmes and supports that drive measurable benefits for our organisation and the businesses we engage with.
Successful candidates will have a strong track record of successfully managing multi-stakeholder projects, financial management acumen, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* A degree or equivalent third-level qualification.
* A minimum of 3 years management experience working in a business role that involved identifying and developing activities to meet organisational strategic objectives.
* A minimum of 3 years experience of proactively managing and effectively leading a team, with an ability to plan and organise work to achieve results within tight deadlines.
* A proven track record of successfully managing multi-stakeholder projects with strong operational and strategic outcomes.
* Financial management acumen, including the ability to prepare and manage budgets.
