Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist Role
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental performance data on a monthly and annual basis.
The EH&S Specialist will lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact across areas such as emissions, energy use, waste management, water consumption, and process-related outputs in line with long-term sustainability objectives.
They will develop implement and monitor programs aimed at reducing workplace incidents supporting best-in-class health and safety performance by applying appropriate tools methodologies to identify assess mitigate ergonomic operational risks ensuring safe efficient systems of work.
Additionally they will provide technical support for operational processes including surface treatment effluent management activities ensuring compliance environmental protection.
1. Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health & Safety post-graduate qualification is desirable
2. 2-3 years experience working in a world-class manufacturing environment preferred
3. Proficiency in statistical graphical tools like Pareto analysis A3s is required
