Financial Planners with the QFA coming from a brokerage or banking background — this role is for you. Search Talent are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join a growing Financial Planning & Wealth Management Team within a financial advisory firm that has a strong footprint in the Irish market. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of financial planning consultants. This opportunity will suit an experienced financial advisor with an innovative and commercial skillset who goes above and beyond to create positive outcomes for clients.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will ensure our clients are provided with accurate financial advice enabling them to make decisions to meet their financial goals. In this role, you will be responsible for advising on our client’s financial position, acting as a trusted advisor in areas such as protection, savings & investments, pensions and the clients’ overall financial planning needs.
Responsibilities
Providing solutions to new and existing clients based on their financial planning needs.
Advise on protection, savings & investments, pensions, and retirement planning needs for both PAYE & self-employed clients.
Assessing the clients' financial circumstances/risk assessments.
Carrying out a thorough fact-find with clients in order to identify their financial goals/objectives.
Growing the client base through lead generation, referrals and sourcing of new business.
Building and maintaining long lasting relationships with clients.
Ensuring all internal policy/procedures and industry compliance regulations/standards are adhered to.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will source new life, investment and pension business through commercial initiatives. Support can be provided.
Work to agreed targets and standards.
About You
Direct experience working as a Financial Planner/Advisor within the financial services industry (broker experience is an advantage).
Must be a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is desirable.
Strong knowledge of life, pensions and investment products.
Solid understanding and knowledge of the Irish pension regulations and legislation.
Experience and knowledge of using cashflow modelling software. Use of CashCalc is desirable.
A positive working attitude with ability to work on own initiative.
Proven track record of meeting targets.
Strong communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage time and to manage projects of various sizes successfully, when required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team, and to manage key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
