Overview A well-established and growing building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Dublin-based team. This is a key hire within the mechanical division, offering the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, education, remediation and mixed-use developments, while progressing toward Associate level in the medium term. The Role You will take a senior position within the mechanical design team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality building services projects from concept through to construction and handover. This hybrid role combines technical delivery, project coordination and client engagement, with increasing responsibility as you progress. Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical design across building services projects Deliver HVAC, heating, ventilation and associated systems across all project stages Coordinate with electrical, structural and architectural teams Support project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality and technical standards are met Engage with clients and attend design meetings as a key project representative Contribute to project planning, coordination and technical decision-making Support and mentor junior engineers where required Experience & Requirements 812 years experience in building services engineering Strong consultancy background (essential) Proven experience delivering mechanical design across full project lifecycle Strong knowledge of Irish and UK design standards Experience across a range of sectors (commercial, education, remediation etc.) Degree in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering Chartered or working toward Chartership desirable Profile Strong communicator with client-facing capability Experience contributing to or leading project delivery Ability to work across multiple projects and prioritise effectively Ambitious and motivated to progress toward Associate level Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery Whats On Offer €95,000 €105,000 salary (DOE) Clear progression pathway toward Associate level Exposure to varied and technically interesting projects Opportunity to grow into a leadership position Strong, collaborative engineering team environment To find out more information, please contact Conor Lucey of ProSource Group at or for a confidential discussion or apply now.
