New Purchasing Manager role based in Navan
As Purchasing Manager, you will lead the sourcing and procurement of raw materials and goods to support the entire production process. This is a key role ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full purchasing process from sourcing to delivery.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
Monitor stock levels with the Stores Manager to ensure continuity of supply.
Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to meet operational needs.
Analyse market trends for product availability, pricing, and substitution opportunities.
Report regularly on procurement KPIs
Requirements
Proven experience in purchasing/procurement within manufacturing, construction, or engineering.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Commercial awareness with data analysis capability.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Comfortable working to tight deadlines and delivery schedules.
