Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Based in Co. Monaghan, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring our operation runs smoothly by performing pre-planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the business.
You will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring its performance meets targets and KPIs. This involves working on morning and evening shifts from Monday to Friday, with additional benefits including pension, healthcare, and an annual bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing maintenance and repairs on company equipment.
* Resolving issues and reporting defects or concerns that could lead to future problems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
* Undertake basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs of faulty production equipment.
* Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively, minimizing disruption to the business.
* Ensure defects or issues are logged and maintained in a clean and safe environment compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies.
* Carry out any other maintenance duties required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements:
* 4+ years' experience working within an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of working within a production industry.
* Desirable experience of PLC controlled machinery.
* Experience in Mechanical & Electrical fault finding.
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
* Excellent Communication Skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Able to work within a team environment.
* Flexible to working certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
