The Role & What You Will Be Doing
The OpEx Specialist will be responsible for supporting and driving continuous improvement initiatives through cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Identify, lead, and execute continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and root cause analyses (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
Support with OpEx training and coaching to cross-functional teams.
Monitor and report on performance metrics (e.g., OEE, OA, cycle times, right‑first‑time).
Support digital transformation or automation initiatives to improve operational performance.
Participate in CAPA effectiveness reviews and deviation investigations to improve long‑term performance.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
Contribute to the development and deployment of the site’s Operational Excellence strategy and roadmap.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Industrial, or related field)
PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing certified beneficial
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, preferably in pharma, biotech, or med tech.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, writing, presentation and data organization skills
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership qualities
