Embark on a comprehensive training program that combines hands-on experience with off-the-job education in a state-of-the-art facility. As an instrumentation apprentice, you will work alongside experienced mentors to install, maintain and calibrate process measurement and control equipment, protection and safety shut-down systems, first-up systems, analytical instrumentation, telemetry, weighing systems, vibration monitoring, data and Scada systems, and information gathering and logging systems.
The apprenticeship involves working with cutting-edge technologies and innovations in various industries, including Semi-Conductor, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and laboratory settings. Upon completion, you will become a fully qualified instrumentation craftsperson, with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain and calibrate process measurement and control equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain and install protection and safety shut-down systems to prevent accidents.
* Install and maintain first-up systems, analytical instrumentation, telemetry, weighing systems, vibration monitoring, data and Scada systems, and information gathering and logging systems.
