The successful candidate will understand and apply current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds, reviewing transaction and valuation information. Key responsibilities include:Primary contact to clients on daily operational issues, discussions, and requestsReview of Net Asset Value calculations and related reportingCoordinate investor capital activities, annual financial audits, and statutory reportingMaintain understanding of fund documentation and apply terms to financial reporting and income/expense allocationsStay current with accounting principles and develop solutions for issuesLiaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely completion of deliverablesParticipate in onboarding new fundsResolve client issues/queries promptly to maintain high satisfactionIdentify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficienciesManage work allocation and team utilization, ensuring cross-training and coverageParticipate in company and client initiatives outside normal dutiesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications include:A university degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant qualification; qualified accountant preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, audit, or fund administration in private credit or private equity, with staff management experienceDeep understanding of the fund industry; knowledge of private credit or loan products is a plusStrong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and ExcelKnowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAPExperience with accounting software such as Investran is advantageousExperience something Brilliantly Different with a career at MUFG Investor Services.Who are we?
