Key Responsibilities:
As a platform engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and refining our next-generation machine learning platform. This involves integrating our proprietary UML (unsupervised machine learning) with SML (supervised machine learning) algorithms to enhance core detection capabilities and automate training processes.
In response to the escalating complexity of fraud attacks, we require creative and enthusiastic engineers to expand our novel streaming and database systems, ensuring real-time UML functionality. Your contributions will help push the boundaries of what is possible in fraud detection and data processing at scale.
Job Requirements:
* Design and develop machine learning systems for processing massive data sets from leading consumer services
* Employ unsupervised machine learning, supervised machine learning, and deep learning techniques to identify fraudulent behavior and apprehend perpetrators
* Build, optimize, and validate systems, tools, and strategies to support new features
* Contribute to the design and development of distributed real-time systems and features
* Leverage big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra) to create large-scale machine learning pipelines
* Develop innovative systems on top of real-time streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink)
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in Java, Shell, or Python development
* Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
* Experience with Cassandra, HBase, Flink, Spark, or Kafka is highly desirable
* Experience with the Spring Framework is advantageous
* Familiarity with test-driven development is beneficial
