This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with your role butit is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.
Duties:
Daily management of crews on site.
Work as part of an onsite team to ensure the quality of the work is delivered to an excellentstandard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
Scheduling of materials and plant/machinery for the site.
Managing the safety of colleagues on site.
Supervised sub-contractors.
Quality control/monitoring of incoming materials.
Read, understand, and build as per landscape plans/drawings.
Ensuring the care and maintenance of plant and machinery whilst on site.
Generating reports, including time sheets, machinery checklists, H&S reports, etc.
Winter maintenance works during winter periods (night work).
Lawn care mowing, strimming, and edging.
Shrub and hedge pruning and maintenance.
Tree maintenance.
Weed control and herbicide application.
Litter and debris collection.
Seeding and turfing of lawns.
Paving/light civil works.
Tree and shrub planting.
Administrative duties include the use of a tablet to complete and submit Time Sheets, Vehicle
Reports, Accident Reports, acknowledge company notifications, etc.
Attend regular team meetings.
Requirements
Provisional / Full Driving Licence Preferred
B+E Licence/ C+E / CPC / Tractor experience is an advantage
Previous experience/knowledge in a similar industry is desirable
