The Opportunity We are currently partnering with a prestigious commercial law firm in Dublin to recruit a talented and experienced Pensions Lawyer. This is a unique opportunity to join a top-tier legal practice with an outstanding reputation for advisory and transactional work in pensions, employee benefits, and related areas. This role is ideally suited to a qualified solicitor with strong experience in pensions law, ideally gained at a leading firm or in-house with a major financial institution, consultancy, or regulatory body. Key Responsibilities Advising trustees, employers, and pension providers on all aspects of pensions law and regulation, including DB and DC schemes Drafting and reviewing scheme documentation, trust deeds, and member communications Supporting corporate transactions with pensions due diligence and related structuring Advising on regulatory issues, including compliance with Irish Pensions Authority requirements Representing clients in negotiations with service providers and regulatory bodies Assisting with contentious pensions matters and dispute resolution where required Collaborating with colleagues in Employment, Corporate, and Tax teams on cross-practice matters Candidate Requirements Qualified solicitor (Ireland or UK) with 2+ years' PQE in pensions law Strong technical knowledge of Irish pensions legislation and regulation Demonstrated experience advising on both occupational pension schemes and regulatory issues Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills Proven ability to manage client relationships and work independently with minimal supervision Commercial acumen and a proactive, collaborative approach to practice development What's on Offer Opportunity to work with high-profile clients including financial institutions, multinationals, and pension trustees Supportive and inclusive working environment with excellent career development pathways Competitive remuneration and benefits package Hybrid working policy and excellent work-life balance Chance to join a firm committed to innovation, diversity, and legal excellence Skills: Pensions Estate Planning Trustees
