About the Role:

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of buildings, landscapes, factory and offices in line with operational activities. Primary focus is on ensuring maximum uptime on machinery whilst maintaining high tolerances and minimizing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
* Involvement in all projects concerning buildings and site infrastructure
* Ensure all engineering maintenance work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Legislation
* Repair production equipment to current company standards to optimize performance
* Plan for and assist with the installation of new or relocated machinery/equipment
* Monitor performance, diagnose faults and make necessary adjustments/reps
* Maintain accurate and organized records of work, both written and electronic
Requirements:
* Completed approved apprenticeship with relevant Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical qualification or engineering qualification
* At least five years post-apprenticeship experience in mechanical and/or electrical hands-on maintenance/engineering role
* Experience in problem-solving and rectification on various equipment/machinery
* Knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* A full, valid driving license
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Strong organizational, planning and time-management ability
* IT literate (Proficient in MS Office)
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Benefits:
* Comprehensive salary up to £40000
* Element of on-call required, but on a rota basis
