We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Marketing Platform Operations. This individual contributor role is focused on building scalable automation, orchestration, and integration solutions across MongoDB’s marketing technology ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will blend technical fluency with marketing operations expertise by connecting data, tools, and workflows to help marketers move faster, smarter, and with greater precision. You’ll work primarily with Workato, collaborating with the owners of platforms such as Marketo, Iterable, Splash, Intercom, Wrike, and Salesforce to optimize workflows and data processes within and across systems.
A strong understanding of marketing processes, Martech, Integration & APIs, and AI-assisted automation will help you succeed in this role.

Main Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain Workato recipes and integrations across marketing technologies to streamline workflows and data flows
* Partner with Campaign Operations team, and Marketing Platform owners (MAP, CEP, and other systems) to identify automation opportunities and remove process friction
* Translate marketing and campaign needs into automated, scalable system solutions, using Workato and related tools
* Implement AI-assisted automations that enhance operational efficiency
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, M, Engineering, and our Marketing Ops to ensure data integrity and alignment
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integrations for reliability and performance
* Create and maintain documentation, including automation playbooks and best practices
* Act as a subject matter expert and consultant within Marketing on process design and automation strategy
* Support governance, compliance, and change management related to system workflows and integrations
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or process automation roles
* Experience with Workato (or similar tools like Zapier, Tray.io, or Mulesoft) and its connectors specific to Marketo, Iterable, Salesforce, Hubspot or data warehouses
* Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Iterable) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
* Comfort working with APIs, data mappings, and system schemas to build and maintain integrations
* Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into technical solutions that improve process efficiency
* Experience with AI or ML-driven tools in marketing workflows (e.g., enrichment, scoring, content automation) is a plus
* Proven experience applying structured testing methodologies to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous process optimization
* Strong communication and documentation skills, able to partner with technical and non-technical teams
* Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive, driven to optimise and automate wherever possible
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Bonus Points
* Knowledge of data governance, privacy compliance, and workflow versioning
* Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other scripting for workflow automation
* Prior experience with AI orchestration frameworks or LLM-driven automation tools
* Exposure to enterprise-scale marketing ecosystems or high-growth SaaS environments
